A Custom Foreplay I Preamp!

Hi Gang,

I was looking through some archived photos today, and came across these pictures.
If I remember correctly, I built this preamp from scratch around the year 2004.

The circuit is bone stock, and assembled with Dale resistors throughout, including
the Goldpoint attenuator.  Output caps are Solen, and Panasonic TSNH were used
for filter caps.  The power transformer is a Hammond 262E12.

At the time, I was enamored with the look of Don Garbers products....so I tried to
make this look 'Fi-like'.  The chassis plate was machined from 1/4" thick aluminum
plate, and clear anodized.
