I seen some forum post of people using this adapter and tube. Is it completely compatible and safe?

It will work electrically, but it may not be totally quiet.

You may pick up a 60Hz hum or other noise. This has been an issue with some adapters for some people in the past. No harm will come to your amp from using it though.
