Soldering all the drain wires into T28

Would soldering the drain wires from all the inputs into T28 be a potential source of noise, not to mention being a source of cramps? Thanks for listening.

Well, son of a gun. I did  search on the manual for 28U, and sure enough, there is no instruction to solder it. Yes the terminal and its wires should be soldered, and a missing solder joint there will increase the possibility of noise getting int the signal path. Note that, because of the large number of wires and the fact that the terminal is bolted to the chassis, it may take more heat than usual to get a good connection.

There is an instruction to solder 28L, and as far as I can tell that would be a good time to get 28U as well - in fact it may be quite difficult to NOT get 28U at that point!

IIRC that instruction was maybe the very last one, and it may have "fallen" off the page. I'll check when I have a chance to breath - we are in the midst of the Xmas order blitz and I am up to my neck in parts bins and little plastic bags today.

To tell the truth, I wasn't actually reading the instructions. I just assumed all those wires were soldered in place (don't see the point in letting those wires float). I'm just curious about 1 thing, did anyone leave those drain wires unsoldered? Thanks for listening.
