Resistors, What say you?

Carbon composite, metal film, metal foil, wire wound, kryptonite, etc. In the signal path what would you choose?

You know, in the builds Grainger and I did we always chose carbon film.  Now that I think about it I am not exactly sure why...

You choose what you need for the particular application.  "In the signal path" isn't specific enough.

Forgive me, a grammar correction here,  "Resistance is futile."  the Borg.
