polarity of FPIII

I have a Foreplay III, which I made few years ago, but I forget whether it inverts polarity or preserves the polarity of the signal.  Thank you in advance for your help.

Every Bottlehead preamp inverts.  That is past and present.

I know you wrote "Every" but does that include the BeePre?  How about the Paramount 300Bs?  Thanks.

The BeePre does invert.  The Paramounts are not preamps, and they do not invert polarity.

The Eros/Reduction also do not invert polarity.

Thanks PB!  So, if my BeePre inverts and my Paramount 300Bs don't, should I purposely wire my speakers black-to-red and red-to-black?  I know this is a controversial subject and doesn't even take into account that many digital recordings have inverted polarity.  I'm also aware that the usual answer is to "try it both way and whichever sounds better...".

Some analog recordings also likely inverted. I would advise not worrying about it, stuff like this can drive you crazy and be relatively unimportant.
