Paramount problem [resolved]

Replacing the transistors now. Replaced the MJE5731A on the A side with a MJE 5731AG. Replacing the MJE350 on the B side with a MJE 5731AG also. Does the metal tab face in or out? Thank you

Pleased to report that it seems to have fixed the problem. I put in two new MJE 5731AG's and two new 2N2907's. I have been playing music thru the amps for a couple hours now and all is good. A big thank you to the two Pauls. You guys are a great resource to this community.

As a side note, since I have been exercising my soldering skills after a long break, I decided to order the Stereomour ll. I got the shipping confirmation today. Looking forward to seeing how it compares to the Paramounts.
