My beloved Amplifier Bottlehead Paraglow IIs needed some repairs. So I upgraded the 4-pin tube sockets, hum pots & resistors, power resistors.
Pictures attached.

It is also very important that you replace the electrolytic capacitors. When we get a Paraglow in for refurb we replace each of the 100uF 450V caps with two 270uF 350V rated caps in series with a 100K resistor across each one to equalize the voltage across them. This gives you a 135uF caps rated for 700V. That is a much better rating for the job since the power supply often surges over 500V at startup. As old as the Paraglow is (and thus its original capacitors are), this is a must.
