I bought my Crack+Speedball already built few years ago, worked fine, no problem - following a change of position on my desktop, suddenly there is no sound in the left channel but if i unplug my headphone jack just a little bit (so it's partially connected) i can hear the sound in both channels only its bad quality(sounds weird) - any ideas?

You will need to do a voltage check on the Crack to determine which voltages are off.
When you pull the headphone plug out slightly, you get the right channel in both ears.
