Moreplay transformer hardware

Hello all,
I am awaiting a Moreplay and have reviewed the manual. I'm curious as to why the switch from 8-32 to 4-40 hardware?

8-32 hardware won't fit through the holes in lamination stack of the power transformer we provide with that kit, so we had the choice of using 6-32 or 4-40 hardware to mount it.  Ultimately we decided to just make everything 4-40 in the kit.
