Minty Fresh EROS

So I was walking around in the local Japanese home improvement store and I see this can of mint green spray paint. And this little voice goes off in my head that my EROS top plate needs to be this color. So the EROS had to come apart.

Don't know why but I dig it. Is a bit more of a powdery color in person. Did the tranny endbell too. I'll take some more pics when I get her back together.

That's quite a color. It almost matches this Dynaco

I'm not sure that is minty green.  It looks closer to Lime Sherbet.

HMM...think I'll do that ratty MarkIV pair in Safety Yellow powder coat. Yeah

Yeah, that pic does make it look pretty close to that st-70. In person it is not nearly as limey.

On a side note I had to redo it. When I went to put the IEC plug back in it was super tight because of how thick this japanese paint is and I slipped and put a nice big gouge in it. Also got a wild hair and painted the transformer an almondy color. Kind of that old fender pick guard color.

Hope to have her back this weekend to spin some vinyl. Just picked up an old original press Muddy Waters live recording from the used record shop near my house and I really want to give it a listen.
