How many mili Ampere are recommended for a 6080 tube in use in a C2A? Available are the following:

65 mA/ 85 mA / 89 mA / 93 mA / 100 mA / 100 mA110 mA / 117 mA/ 118 mA / 122 mA

You'll have to be a lot more specific about what you're asking and what you're trying to do. As written, this question is not answerable.

I want to buy an alternative 6080 tube for my C2A, I found one which I like but the seller offers them with different measurements. I couldnt figure out how exactly these measurements are to be interpreted and found conflicting information.

Depends on the seller, but those might be measurements of the current draw of each section of 5 different 6080 tubes. As I understand it, higher numbers are usually "better" in the sense that they reflect a stronger tube that should last longer (as tubes age, they draw less current).

Assuming I'm guessing correctly, I'd go for the 118ma/122 ma tube, though there's more to tube health than current draw alone.

Genuine Thomsons are good but there’s a spate of fakes going around. Find a reputable tube dealer.

I say that because a few times a year, someone comes here or e-mails me and asks why that specific tube that they bought from Europe doesn't work in their Crack.
Im not sure if I understand that correctly but do you mean by that that a USA made tube, Bendix for example, would work much better?

No, again he’s saying that people buying the Thomsons from European eBay sellers are complaining that they’re not real. We’ve all been saying some variation of the same thing: there are fakes out there and you have to be vigilant. We are giving you advice to not buy them and instead go to a reputable tube seller.

I think they are real tubes, they just have an extremely high rate of failure. It's completely possible that the source for these was a bad batch that was supposed to be destroyed, and maybe it sat in a closet or a warehouse for decades, it's really hard to tell. We consider buying that specific tube from Europe to be a waste of money, but you are welcome to buy one and roll the dice.

Pretty much all of the 6080/6AS7 tubes we provide for the Crack are USA made.

Listen to PB. Don't think you'll be alright buying these. They'll die on you soon.
I've seen dozens of these over the years and most die right out of the box. Or die when used within 1000 hours.
If you want European 6080 search for Mullard / Philips ones made in the Mitcham factory. Those are good quality and will still work after years of use.

The Thomson even found a spot on the Jacmusic tube hall of shame for being relabeled as Telefunken (so also don't buy those).

What did you buy?
Bendix 6080 in perfect condition imported from usa, my hi fi dad found an unused telefunken 12au7 in his tube collection, currently unsure wether to buy a matched pair of 6aq5 mullards or telefunkens, my system might be very bright as i will use silver wire to connect the internals and mullards i have read are warmer while tellies are brighter :)
