I want to buy an alternative 6080 tube for my C2A, I found one which I like but the seller offers them with different measurements. I couldnt figure out how exactly these measurements are to be interpreted and found conflicting information. You'll have to be a lot more specific about what you're asking and what you're trying to do. As written, this question is not answerable.
Depends on the seller, but those might be measurements of the current draw of each section of 5 different 6080 tubes. As I understand it, higher numbers are usually "better" in the sense that they reflect a stronger tube that should last longer (as tubes age, they draw less current).
Assuming I'm guessing correctly, I'd go for the 118ma/122 ma tube, though there's more to tube health than current draw alone.
I must add the values in the sellers description arent up to date, the ones I listed in this thread are up to date.![]()

Do you say that because you believe them to be fake -referring to Jamesons comment-Yeah, don't buy those.
I say that because a few times a year, someone comes here or e-mails me and asks why that specific tube that they bought from Europe doesn't work in their Crack.Do you say that because you believe them to be fake -referring to Jamesons comment-
Im not sure if I understand that correctly but do you mean by that that a USA made tube, Bendix for example, would work much better?I say that because a few times a year, someone comes here or e-mails me and asks why that specific tube that they bought from Europe doesn't work in their Crack.
What did you buy?i bought a US made 6080, no worries
Bendix 6080 in perfect condition imported from usa, my hi fi dad found an unused telefunken 12au7 in his tube collection, currently unsure wether to buy a matched pair of 6aq5 mullards or telefunkens, my system might be very bright as i will use silver wire to connect the internals and mullards i have read are warmer while tellies are brighterWhat did you buy?
