Install Speedball before dropping-in 6SN7 input tube?

Hi guys,

Found some nice NOS Sylvania 6SN7GT tubes plus an adapter, and keen to see the differences between them and the stock 12AU7.

I understand they draw an additional 300mA current draw over the 12AU7(?), I have my Speedball update arriving later in the week - should I wait to install this before trying the new tube family?

The heater current isn't directly related to the Speedball and the part of the circuit in which it operates.

As always, do one mod at a time!
