I've retired my 'pre, gone another route alltogether... but I get nostalgic (and allergic to wasting a good piece of kit).

Has anyone got ideas on how to convert it to an overkill headphone amp ?

We have three different tube headphone amps available (Crack, SEX, and Mainline).  The BeePre design is not at all suitable for any headphones that I have ever run into.

I was just « wishin’ Â» to try and convert it to another use, as I am not using it at the moment, and don’t have room for another system !

but if there’s no path to doing that, too bad, I’ll wait !!!

I'm sure you could make a little PC board with a pair of big mosfets on it mounted to big heatsinks and create a headphone amplifier out of it in that way.
