Foreplay III Tone Control

For older/worn LPs that don't quite sound like they used to, I decided to try building a simple tone control for my Foreplay III to boost the treble a little.  Having 55+ old ears probably contributes to the lack of highs as well...

I included a bypass switch to add the control as needed.  A drawback is that the output of the Foreplay is lowered by about a third (added impedance?) when the circuit is active, though it's still fills the room using a S.E.X. as my main amp.

Yes, it works quite well.  Cymbals go sssss instead of shhhhh now. We played an old Moody Blues last night I've had since I was 14 (ceramic cartridge era!) and it helped it alot.  Carlene approves.

Did you get my PMs about the Ampzilla?
