That is very nice woodwork!  Shouldn't it be used for smoking?  I have never seen it used.  Very nice!

Mesquite has great color and grain, and is great for woodwork or for smoking bar-be-que brisket and ribs.  I wanted some heft to the plinth to due justice to the electronics.  The mortise and tenon became much more visually pronounced than originally intended, but I like all-wood joinery, and the exposed tusk was the quickest way to draw tight the joints.  Here's another look at the front:
