Fixing the Chassis

Hi,

I've just completed my Crack build - it's awesome!

I'm looking for a way to secure the chassis to the wooden frame (without gluing it directly - I want to be able to remove it for future upgrades). What have others done? I don't want to drill through the chassis now it's all built. Any suggestions for fixings?

For my use - I find that gravity does a wonderful job of keeping the Al plate sitting nicely on the wood base. As long as you don't want to pick it up by grabbing the transformer, I don't see a need to have any kind of additional attachment.

However, if you do want to have some kind of attachment, I'd imaging a dab of silicone caulk at each corner would do the job (and is easily removed, if desired).

You can get some square wood stock at the hardware store and cut it down, glue it into the corners, then screw through the top of the chassis plate into your corner blocks.
