I finished my Eros!!! there was a bit of a struggle,you know I had A 270k and a 27k resistor switched. And a bad regulator 1085,which I blew along with the pair of 10uf tantalums ,on the power supply. But all is well and all voltages are spot on,and I am listening right now. My first impression was more bass and alot of detail in the whole presentation. It is stock now and after a while i am going to try a set of Hovland old stock .47s for the coupeling caps.I think in the end though, I will have silver oil mundorfs in that spot. I will also trade several tantalums in the c4s boards. And I have some kimber kcag that I will seperate and put single wires at the inputs and outputs.So I am in the break in period, but it sounds wonderful now with about 2 hrs. on it! Jann O.
