First, thank you Josh for getting the replacement SR board so quickly. (See my Eros thread about that little oops.) I understand you are up to it in getting the Jager orders together.
In fact, thanks to everyone at BH for another superior kit.
It is well documented what the Eros can do for vinyl listening. My initial impression, along with the additional gain and bass presentation, is how lifelike the cymbal and snare drum hits were on the first track I queued-up, both sounding so in-room.
Similar to my Seductor, I had a black anodized panel cut. The RCA inputs were moved to the left side to better facilitate my set-up. You can see I hedged my bets by having a couple of small pilot-holes put in the original locations in case the extra 3-4" of STP wire added any noise. (I know...How will I know? I can say that it is very quiet.)
Anyway, I guess I'm going to have to update my equipment list!

Nice work and fully agree on the cymbals and snare drum comment. Every time I hear those little metal  Zils of a tambourine always gives me smile on mine. The Eros's top end extension  and the separation of instruments is a thing of beauty imho.

Over 8 years since the original build (above) I decided to rebuild my Eros on the unused stock top plate, only employing the original circuit boards and transformer. It had developed some noise that I was initially unable to isolate. During the teardown I found a cold solder joint, the likely culprit as the BH gurus are always reminding us.
The slightly higher than expected resistance readings mirrored those documented in the 2017 Eros build thread.
With the final voltage checks done, and perfectly aligned with the timely arrival of the new wood case pieces (Thank you to the new BH shipping dept.) it was up and singing in the 'lounge' in no time.
Hooked up to one of the Seductor amps recently rewired for stereo, and with Dark Side of the Moon spinning, my wife commented "You're in heaven..."
True that.
