Dutch Stereomour / Crack / Reduction

Hi,

Here is my BH setup  8) . In november of 2013 I got my first kit it was the Crack with speedball.
I really love the Crack with my HD650, I still enjoy this combination and use it daily.

In the end of 2014, I got the Stereomour and the Reduction (both with upgrades).

I really like to build the amps and enjoy the listening afterwards.
The Stereomour (8 Ohms) and the reduction still needs their upgrades.
My current speakers are 8 Ohms, I don't have the need to install the upgrade for the Stereomour.

For the Reduction that is something for this winter, because I need to do some maintenance on my TD 160 MKI.

The wood bases need some finishing (with the badges), but I wanted to wait. I got the stereorack this month, any suggestions on the color?

The other parts are:
- Audio gd DAC ref5
- Thorens TD 160 MKI
- PC (water cooled) for streaming flacs/24 bit flacs of my server
- cables; powercables home made and the interconnects are Kimber PBJ
- Speakers Back Loaded horn with Fostex FE206en drivers with Decware modifications

Enough talking  ;) (the Stereomour and Reduction, inside photo's are comming)

They look great all on the rack together  :D

Danish oil is my preferred choice for finishing my enclosures now. I find it works well highlighting the grain a little more and is very easy to apply. Importantly if doing several enclosures it gives consistent results. Sanding to 220 then wipe on with a rag three or four coats with a wire wool in between then finish with a final wire wool followed by a few coats of a wood paste wax this gives a satin sheen and leaves the wood with a silky smooth tacitly nice feel to it.

One I did earlier three coats of Danish oil followed by three wax and polishes
