can I use XLR from power amp to RCA to Moreplay without issues?

I have been considering a rotel rb 1552 mkII to pair with a moreplay. the rotel has balanced and unbalanced input. the unbalanced input impedance is 12k ohms, which is too low for the moreplay. the input impedance is 100k ohms when using balanced xlr input. since the moreplay doesnt have xlr, could i use an rca to xlr cable to utilize the input impedance of the rotel? would this present problems or degrade the signal? thanks

This is unlikely to provide satisfactory results. If you're dead set on the Rotel amp, then you'd probably want to pair it with a fully upgraded BeePre to cope with that low input impedance. Otherwise, there should be lots of other solid state options floating around with input impedances much higher than that.

can you give any suggestions? what's a good and or common power amp that people pair with a morplay. I have looked and looked for over a dozen hours and haven't found anything that gives a high enough impedance and simultaneously a good amp, at least judging by reviews.

You'd have to let me know what speakers you're intending to run. "A good amp" will be dependent on at least the speakers you intend to pair it with, as well as what's in front of it, and there's a sliding scale of lesser importance with things like room, listening tastes, and past equipment that you've liked.

class ab, intendung to run wharfedale Lintons, in a not great but not terrible smaller medium sized room of around 14x14 feet, placed around a foot and a half from boundaries. I generally like a warmer sound but since the Linton and morplay are both warm I can't have the amp be too warm sounding like a tube amp or even pure class a. lintons are rated 25-200 watts so the more power the better. i was thinking a parasound halo a23+ would be a good fit but saw a review absolutely trashing it. I've heard the schiit vidar is great, and a transparent class ab with high current is also terrific, but im not sure if the moreplay can handle an input impedance of 22k.

You could look out for a Monarchy Audio SM-70 or SM-70 PRO which don't sell for much money because the power output is relatively low, but the input impedance is high and they are a bit on the warmer side (sonically and physically). A lot of Musical Fidelity amps also have higher input impedances, so something like this would get the job done.
