Alternative for fiber shoulder washer?

I’m missing one fiber shoulder washer that goes between a choke and the chassis plate. Is there a common alternative? Can I use nylon? I live on a rock in the middle of the ocean so local resources are a little limited.

You could substitute a plastic washer for one missing one.  The shoulder of the washer on the other side will keep the bolt from touching the chassis.
