Wondering what I messed up on with this build

I would greatly appreciate help with this.  I've checked over the wiring many times (and all the connections), but  I'm not sure what's wrong.  The impedances are all correct, but the tubes don't glow and then the fuse breaks.

Is that resistor lead on the 5W resistor touching terminal 1 on the transformer.  You didn't trim a whole lot of your leads.  My money is something somewhere is touching and shorting to something else or ground.

It does look like that, but it's suspended just over a quarter inch away.  For many of them, I only trimmed them minimally in case I had to redo something I messed up.  After looking closely, I don't see any wires or ends touching anything but other wires leading to the same terminal.

Did you connect 220uF electrolytic capacitor to terminals 19 and 20 instead of 20 and 21?
And clip those leads for God's sake.

You're right!  Great eye.  I'll see if that fixes it.  I didn't even realize that.  How did all my impedances match with that mistake?

Also, double and triple check orientation of all four rectifiers (just in case).

Those little finger nail clippers work well for snipping of the excess lengths of lead.

It looks like You have considerable gaps where the wood is glued together.
You might want to do something about it, at least for safety

Have you been using lead-free solder? if not then reflow all your joints to avoid cold joints. They look dull.
