Will a 6.5mv Goldring 1042 potentially overload a Seduction with C4S?

Subject pretty much says it all - will I have any chance of overloading the Seduction / C4S combo with a Goldring 1042?

I heard one of these cartridges recently and was quite impressed.

I using a Goldring 1012GX (6.5mV ) with my Seduction and it sounds great.

Thinking of upgrading the stylus to the 1042

Seduction can take a midband input of around 200mV - few cartridges can generate that much!

Headroom across the frequency band gets pretty complicated, allowing for the RIAA equalization and recording limitations, which is why I just quote an approximate "midband" figure. The first stage can take nearly a volt. That would clip the second stage in the bass where the equalization does not attenuate much, but a velocity cartridge (i.e. any magnetic cart - moving magnet, moving iron, or moving coil) can't generate much voltage at low frequencies because the groove spacing is limited. You get the idea ...

You will be very happy. I just ordered the 1042 stylus, will let you know what I think when I get it
