I want to add VU meters to the front of my mainline. Anybody have any idea how I would wire them in?

Thinking about picking up one of the vu kits on eBay but I would have to connected to one of the headphone outputs since there’s no preamp outputs on the mainline. That might compromise The sound quality.
You could definitely buy one of the eBay kits and give it a try. I would not permanently install it before listening to it connected to the circuit.
