Transformer Buzz

I have had my Kaiju up and running for a month or so and have enjoyed building and listening. Unfortunately, my unit is buzzing more that I think acceptable - easily heard from my seat - about eight feet from the amp. The hum/buzz is definitely at the unit and does not vary when adjusting the trim potentiometers. Per the advice in other threads, I savagely tightened down the screws on the power transformer which did not have a perceptible impact. Thoughts as to where I should look next?

Thanks in advance.

gjoyce3: My Kaiju transformer buzzes annoyingly, too.
I did tighten the screws, which had little to no measurable effect.

I have found the Van Alstine "HumDinger" DC Line Blocker noticeably abates the buzzing (your mileage may vary.)
Tucking away the Kaiju in a back-ventilated cabinet helps further with the noise abatement ... but, that's hardly a desirable solution; we want the Kaiju to be out in the open for everyone to admire! (See my Kaiju, photograph attached.)

I've been thinking about replacing the PT-9 Transformer altogether, to see if it is an issue with my particular transformer.
I'm open to all ideas!

Thanks for the reply - nice looking build. I will have to check into DC line blockers. I dug into the unit a bit more and tightened down all the other screws on the unit this weekend which seems to help a bit, but the hum is still noticable. I have some more investigation to do as I discovered that the right transformer/choke stackup makes a mechanical noise if I apply light force on the sides, might be something in the washers that needs addressing.
