Finally got around to taking some pics of the Ton-O-Fun.

Current configuration:

MQ Iron and C4s upgrade.
Shorting hedphone jack.
Replaced Parafeed cap with 2uf Russian PIO
Replaced the coupling cap with .1uf Russian PIO
Replaced Cpsu with a soup can sized Solen I had laying around
Replaced Cd_psU with some even bigger 24uf motor runs I dug out of the parts bin
The bias caps were replaced with 1000uf Nichicon Muze
The remaining Psu Caps were moved to the center of the amp to make room for the Cpsu and Cd_psu caps and wired back to the stock location with the shielded wire supplied with the kit.
And the heater cap was replaced with a 10000uf Mundorf Mlytic
All signal wire is Mundorf Silver/Gold 1mm with unbleached cotton tubing.

I'm thinking you should call it the Dolly Parton.  She described herself as 10 pounds of mud in a 5 pound sack.

I really like all the upgrade caps.  Yes, I too am a capacitor junkie.  I also appreciate the nice tightly wound twisted pair that I assume are the heater leads.  It almost looks like Reliance Electric signal wires.

Yes the twisted teflons are the heater wires.

And yeah its a lot of cap in that little chassis. But well worth it. Just really glad I found a good use for that giant Solen. Bought it for a crossover but it didn't sound good in the circuit so I ripped it out. Works great as the PSU cap in the SEX though. And those motor runs are doing magic sucking out all of the hum demons. This is quite possibly the quietest tube amp I have ever heard.

Looking for something to to replace the 220uf Panasonics with. Haven't found anything that looked appreciably better at a price I am willing to pay. That and the amp is at the point of diminishing returns and I still have an Eros and SR45 to build.
