The warm afterglow of a fun Crack build

Finished building my Crack a couple of days ago, but I still have to finish the enclosure. It was a very enjoyable build and it really sounds great with my HD600s. Kudos to Bottlehead for a really well-written and clear set of instructions. While I was sitting here listening with the lights dimmed last night I took a long exposure of the amp. It's a 10 second exposure, f/6.3 800 ISO with a 50mm lens. I also bought the Speedball, but I'm going to try to hold out and enjoy the stock Crack for another day or two.

Super pic of your build I am really envious of the picture taking skills that some of the builders here have.

Thanks! I appreciate it. Still trying to decide which direction to go in for the enclosure finish and I also want to get a nice machined aluminum volume knob. I'll post another pic when it's all done.

How refreshing to find someone who uses a "real" camera - fastly becoming a lost skill I'm afraid.

I've gotten some nice shots with an iPhone, but it's no substitute for a DSLR and a good lens. Looking forward to taking some nice shots of the Crack when it's completely finished.

I love how DSLR's can capture the warmth of a filament glow, especially with long exposures.  For some reason the i dont understand point and clicks just give me a purple/violet colour when ever i try.
