It was kind of odd. I was given an urgent request by the Verge writer for photos that weren't used, while I was not asked a single question about the comeback of reel to reel tape. I guess the cool thing about reporting today is you don't need to actually talk to anyone who was involved in something, you can just copy and paste from the web.
