I have been using that wire for interconnects for some time, did not know what it was called. Ed Shilling gave me some. Just said 'try this its good'. He is right...John
For those who might be buying some W2354 - it's a quad 24 gauge with a very fine copper shield. The pairs are the same colors - one pair of blue, one pair of white. You have to have an ohm meter to match up the wires. I used one wire per connection on the input signal path. Used pairs for 21 gauge at the output and the interconnects. The speaker cables use one cable per connection - all four wires used - for an 18 gauge connection.
Best wire I've used to date and it makes wonderful headphone cables. 8)
Studiowiring.com has this in a few different colors. Last time I talked to Scott he said the black was now a shiny finish and he didn't like the way it looked so I bought up some other colors. Scott's a great guy and his prices are good but you do have to follow up with him after ordering - sometimes he forgets to put your stuff in the mail :. I'm not associated in any way with studiowiring.com.
