Spinning on the Stereomour II

I've got about thirty hours on it so far, all but the last couple out on the bench. I filled the time by finishing the base and painting the top plate of the Reduction to match. (Rust-Oleum Hammered Black)
After bringing it in, hooking it up and starting to spin some familiar vinyl a few things are immediately obvious:
While the overall volume isn't up much from the SEX, the dynamics are handled much better. (Just as expected)
I think I've lost a little in the lower mid-bass range, I'll have to try raising the x-over point on the sub.
Gonna' have to dial in the hum pots. (The SEX was dead quiet)
And finally, I like it already, knowing it will only get better.
Thanks all for the help with the build glitches.

Thanks Jamie, still amazes how much music a couple of watts can make, and what an addictive hobby this is.

Can you give us your thoughts on the mapleshade rack?... very beautiful.. have you had other racks and how does it compare?  thank you in advance

Thanks again.
First the Mapleshade equipment racks are as beautiful as they are sturdy. (I own 3)
I have never owned another rack system designed for sonic improvement.
As with other Mapleshade products I have purchased, I cannot claim to hear the sonic improvements. This may be entirely on me and my set-up/listening space. My BH analog audio system shares space with a complete A/V system and a separate tube amp/cd/2 ch speaker system. And I certainly do not possess golden ears.
That being said, I will no doubt continue my relationship (customer only) with them. Did I mention they make beautiful stuff!
The gold over brass knobs are from PartsConnexion, again customer only. Had to slightly enlarge the holes to fit the BH supplied pots.
