I've got about thirty hours on it so far, all but the last couple out on the bench. I filled the time by finishing the base and painting the top plate of the Reduction to match. (Rust-Oleum Hammered Black)
After bringing it in, hooking it up and starting to spin some familiar vinyl a few things are immediately obvious:
While the overall volume isn't up much from the SEX, the dynamics are handled much better. (Just as expected)
I think I've lost a little in the lower mid-bass range, I'll have to try raising the x-over point on the sub.
Gonna' have to dial in the hum pots. (The SEX was dead quiet)
And finally, I like it already, knowing it will only get better.
