Speedball Error..Did I ruin my crack :-\

My stock crack was working fine. Yesterday I installed Speedball. Did the voltages check today..and boom. When taking the voltage check at terminal 3, it made some sparks and a pop noise. The led under the 12au7 and the one one the left side of the board are not lighting up. Here are my volatges (using a 240V transformer)

You must've hit one of the adjacent terminals to terminal 3 (which is grounded, you can skip that next time).

I'd e-mail replacementparts(at)bottlehead(dot)com and ask for a new small green PC board and associated parts.  I suspect the LED's on the tube socket are fine.

To check this, you can swap your functional green PC board to the other side.

Doc ,you jinxed it  :'( !! exchanged the boards tried it again, a little smoke coming from the TRS jack's resistors I think..Well now I smell it
Tough feckin luck. reverting to stock seems the only option

You can put the 22K resistors back and attempt to run the amp with only the larger Speedball board.

Frying the 2.49K resistors at the output would be very difficult to do, and would require other components to fail in a way that would be very noticeable.

Ok,I re-soldered the boards. Did the voltages check again. I have 6 readings wrong, out of which, 3 show half the recommended values. 2 LEDS are noy working: One on the left PC board ( didn't work when I swapped it to the right also) and one directly below the 12au7.Here are my readings:

I'm sorry Paul I missed your earlier post. It seems one of the boards ain't working right.
I'll try to put the 22k resistors back and try again

To test the LEDs (all are oriented properly, the pictures help here) use your meter on Ohms, put the leads on the LEDs one way then swap the meter leads.  In one direction, probably black to the flat/silver band end and red to the other, you have a good chance of lighting them.  Check good ones then bad ones if the good ones light.

This verifies that they are not damaged.

BTW, in one direction you get a low resistance in the other you get a high resistance.
