SEX 2.1 Repair Needed

Hello Newbie to SET amps and this forum.  Just picked up a SEX2.1 (I believe) from an estate sale.  Powers on, but nothing other than a loud screech coming from the left channel when the volume knob is turned up about 1/3 up.  Same result with and without a source signal connected.

I read that Bottlehead no longer services legacy kits.

I apologize in advance if solicitation of repair services is out of bounds, as I have read some comments hinting to that affect on some of the threads.

Any advice/guidance for a Bottlehead newbie?  Thanks!

Shoot me an e-mail to pb(at)bottlehead(dot)com and I'll get a repair box sent out to you with packing instructions.

The only legacy kits that we prefer not to service are Foreplay I and Foreplay II, mostly because you can buy a Quickie for less than the costs of repair. 

I can certainly get that SEX amp up and running for you.
