The S.E.X. kit 3.0 is retiring! The reason is that we have been having difficulty locating the large quantities of 6FJ7 tubes necessary to justify keeping the kit in production. That said, as an end user one should have little trouble locating a pair or two on ebay, or from reputable tube vendors - if you ever need them. The tubes last a long, long time in this amp. We have set aside a special batch of premium 6FJ7 tubes that will go into these last eight kits. You will receive either Amperex or Tung Sol branded 6FJ7s with your order (sorry, we cannot guarantee which brand you will receive).

Very sad to hear the SEX amp is going away. What tube will the replacement amplifier only be using?

We are down to just three of the S.E.X. 3.0 kits with the special tubes left. We've seen several orders the past couple weeks and I suspect these may go pretty quickly.

Good Morning, I just purchased one of the last SEX 3.0 kits. I already have one and am going to be setting them up as mono blocks with the Moreplay preamp. I just looked and there is limited information about converting it over to a monoblock, so I may be looking for some guidance. Thanks, Jason
