PreBee2 “Tape” output

I want to use my PreBee2 as an Input switcher when not in use. I was going to use the second output location to add another set of RCA jacks, then run some twisted pair to the output of the input switch. This way I can send signal to my solid state receiver when I’d like to use it instead of my Tube system.

My question is. If I have this connected all the time to a powered off receiver, will the load having another device connected to that switch negatively affect the functionality or sound quality of the PreBee?

I could add a 4PDT switch and short to the port, but I’m trying to understand if it’s necessary.

Thank you.

This could load down your source components a little bit, but that's hard to determine without knowing the input impedance of what will be connected to the tape output.
