Paramount Soft Start Resistance/Voltage Checks - 45

I have my Paramounts converted to 45 so I wanted to verify a couple of different readings I get from the manual.  I get the same basic reading with both amps:

B5  6.18K ohms
6    6.3K
7    278K
9    278K
19  279K

A3 279K
A4 6.2K

B2 10K
B4 279K
B6 280K

Worried right now because I have 4 carbon comp resistors left over ranging from 215 to 228 ohms that I need to make sure I didn't accidentally leave out.  I used 6 already though!

Obviously my voltages will be different once I get the courage up to plug it in, I will see what I can figure out there.

Those look good to me. T9 and T19 should read 300K for the direct coupled amps (2A3, or your 45) - there is no spec in the upgrade manual yet but that's what I think it should read. Adjust driver voltage as for the 2A3 version.

Ok, I plugged them in and they are playing!  Thank you!  And the amps came up so nice and smoothly, it was really beautiful.  And those little acorn 5670 tubes really glow.  Fantastic.  Anyway, thanks for the help.  It is late here so I will set the voltage tomorrow.

It sounds like these could be the brightest tube used in any Bottlehead product.

The ones I am using do glow nicely.  Using G.E. 5-Star.  I have some 60's Raytheon to try as well when I get around to it.  A nice thing about the soft start is I can turn everything on from the power strip.  The amps are the last things to come on and the first thing to turn off.
