OT - oops

Tipped my bike over this morning whilst trying to put it up on the swingarm stand. No big deal, just a slight crack on one fairing and a bruised knee. Seems pretty mundane compared to this oops:

You did a great job with your restoration.  Congrats.

My bike has tip over protectors that I exercised once.  No damage to the bike and I just suffered a bruised ego.

Oh the bike has frame sliders, fork sliders and handlebar sliders, and flip up brake and clutch levers. But I think what really saved me from more damage was the two bags of blasting soda laying on the floor next to the bike. Made for a reasonably soft landing. I have the upper fairing vinyl wrap half finished as of this evening. That's the last bit of bodywork so I'm very close to completion.

Got the upper fairing finished and mounted today. Just a few more things to check off...

Dan its good to see not to much damage has been done after all the work that went into the rebuilding.

On the subject of sliders I have a different use for the handle bar end type

That is a very well protected set of headphones. The CF tubing is very cool.
