Ortofon red cartridge w/ blue stylus

Thinking on building another BH project. Would this be a decent match for the reduction?

If you mean the Ortofon 2M red, then yes.  If you mean the Ortofon Quintet Red or another of their moving coil cartridges, then no.

Ortofon 2M Blue is the same as a 2M Red with a Blue stylus. No problem. Quintets are MC and don't have user replaceable styli.

Ortofon says the 2M Blue is 5.5mV - remarkably close to the Reduction design center of 5mV. Should be nearly a perfect match.

Ortofon also says 150-300pF capacitance. Reduction by itself is about 60pF, so you would normally seek to find cables in the range 90-240pF.
