Oh brother, snow, brother!

Good old Kodak! - I went to the Univ. of Rochester. I will say, though, Rochester got the shit for weather compared to Buffalo and Waterclown. Rain, overcast, crap on top of crap. I think at the time, the suicide rate in Rochester was the highest in the country. Not sure if that was true...

Eric,

That's why I had to leave -- the weather was so terrible so much of the time I honestly couldn't deal with it any longer.  Now of course Boulder is about the polar opposite and yet I find myself looking forward to and enjoying rainy and snowy days.  Go figure.

I actually really liked the area. I could almost survive the two seasons, winter and construction.  But being a native Californian the lack of sunshine definitely got to me. They report minutes of sunshine on the weather, not days....not a good sign.

Cheers,
Geary

Hey Eric,

Yeah, but you guys have some wild-ass electrical sttorms down there, which in recent years are few and far between for us, especially where we are -- only a couple of blocks east of the mountains.  On the other hand, being this close to the mountains means extremely low possibility of a tornado touching down -- those happen further out from town for the most part.

Deb

Looks the same here, only we got about three times as much!  Trees and branches down everywhere.  A friend of ours lost power on Friday and has been told it won't be back until the 29th!  The irony is that he ordered a generator 2months ago but just prior to delivery it got diverted for hurricane Sandy relief!

Merry Christmas to all.
