OFF BRAND 9V BATTERIES DON'T FIT.

I have been able to pick up some off brand alkaline 9v batteries for a good price, but find that they are just a hair too long for the battery holder, and I did not want to force them in. Has anyone had this problem, or is just a Canadian thing?

Are you trying to connect them backwards? Being Canadian myself, I tend to overlook the obvious
