new to bottlehead

I am considering this kit to use as a phono pre with grado reference sonata MM/MI. I am not totally new to kit building-this would be my second kit as I have recently finished building the Akitika 101 solid state power amp. I used this iron:
Stahl Tools SSVT Variable Temperature Soldering Iron Station and Kester 60/40 .031" Solder
Will this basic equipment along with tools and multimeter be sufficient?
Will this phono stage be ok with the grado wood body 5mv output?

Yup, those tools are fine and the Eros will work well with your cartridge.
