New BeePre / Eros, biamped DIY Voxativ and Fostex speakers

Finished the BeePre and Eros a few weeks ago. I have been waiting until this week on an adaptor plate for my DIY open baffle  speakers to allow me to put my new Voxativ 1.6 speakers into the holes previously occupied by Fostex 208s. The signal goes out from the BeePree into a Marchand crossover I built several years ago. My Paramour 2A3s drive the Voxativ full range drivers supplemented by Fostex super tweeters. The Voxativs are mounted on an open baffle that acts as a mechanical high pass filter at approximately 250 Hz. A pair of vintage Heathkit UA-2s drive the 15" Fostex woofers. It sounds decent, especially considering how much of it is DIY hand crafted.

Many thanks to Doc and to everyone who helped with my trouble shooting efforts on the Forum.

The rack is a SAMSON V3 from Mapleshade. I have seen it used with other Bottlehead systems, but usually with the clear lacquer finish. I ordered mine with the optional black finish and black uprights. It is a sturdy solid maple and the fit and finish is excellent. They ship it unassembled in three packages. You can find out more on their website.

Finally finished the acoustic treatment for the front and back walls. Here is a picture of the listening position. The GIK bass traps perform as advertised and cleaned up the sound to a huge and obvious extent.  I also have Auralex LERND  wedges in the corners of the back wall. Wow! The combination of the two treatments is possibly the most essential piece of the whole system. I almost can't believe how much detail I was missing from all this great Bottlehead gear.
