I've been wanting to build this Crack amp ever since the days of Tyll at Innerfidelity, the Headroom guy. BTW, he seems to have disappeared for a long time. Anyways, build went together well thanks to the well written manual. Kit was packaged very nice, complete and arrived undamaged. It sounds good with my Beyerdynamic DT990 pro headphones and especially great synergy with my Sennheiser HD6XX headphones. I see why so many people say it's a good match for the Senns. No hum, clean balanced sound with enough power to drive high impedance headphones to loud volumes. In the future, probably will get the Speedball upgrade. Pics of my Crack build.
