I recently finished my first Bottlehead kit, a Moreplay. Everything went smoothly, except when a lead pulled out of a 0.1uf ceramic capacitor. A quick email to Bottlehead, and a replacement was mailed to me right away at no charge. Thank you for the excellent support and the quality kit. I really enjoyed the build, and I learned a lot in the process. Up next is a Kaiju, which I'll tackle sometime in the next few months.
I got lucky with my Moreplay. It came with a beautiful piece of knot wood. Very Wabi Sabi. I finished it with Tried and True Original Wood Finish. It's looking and sounding great in my office system.
