I bought this about 2 months ago and just finished it yesterday. The last photos are a collection of my DIY projects. It was a highly enjoyable project from start to finish. I'm a beginner to this kind of stuff and even I did a decent job. I opt'd to forgo speedball install for a month to see if I'll notice the difference.

Stain: Rustoleum Kona
Finish: Rustoleum Poly
Top Plate: Almond Powder Coated ~$25
Transformer Cap: Silver Powder Coated ~$12

I got it done at a local auto powder coating shop. Found them by googling.
