Moreplay upgrade with Cover Up Leg and Bottom Cover

Hi,

I hope you are all well. I would like to know if anybody has installed the Moreplay upgrade and also the Cover Up Leg and Bottom Cover Kit. It seems to me it may be a bit tight between the top of the big heatsinks and the bottom cover. I am about to finish the upgrade, I bought it months ago, but I just found the time now to do it, and I am wondering if I would be able to use the bottom cover kit.

It is tight for sure. We should have packed a set of shorter standoffs in the leg kit for the Moreplay. Shoot us an email at [email protected] if you didn’t get them.

Thanks for the email, I forwarded on to Eric. It may have been the SEX 4 that got the shorter standoffs so we'll see what he says.

Is there clearance under there at all or is it touching/not fitting?

I am about to finish the upgrade kit today later probably and will see it clearly.

For what I see now (I measured the clearance and the height of the chassis with the heatsinks), it is pretty close. I believe it is OK for the heatsinks to touch the bottom plate? I may be able to put some a couple of washers between plate and wood skirt to create a bit more separation. I will finish the kit and report back.

I finished the upgrade. The top of the tall heatsinks is aproximately 1/8 inch past the bottom cover. I just ordered some shorter standoffs from Digikey and that should fix it.
