More Storage, The Benefit Of Employment

Because I'm making money I ordered storage for my CDs from the guy who built my LP storage shelves.  I have been shuffling CDs for 3 days.  I have most of them in the new shelves but I'm going to have to keep the old shelf unit.

This is the Right Cabinet, LPs are below:

This one has room for expansion.  Under the towel is the "Cat Cave."

This is the Left Cabinet, LPs are below here too:

This one is almost full.  It contains Classic Rock/Rock and Jazz.

This is the old storage shelf, there are three more below the lowest shelf you can see.  It was full and I had CDs all over the room.  Now I have space and can store by Genre.

There are still about 50 CDs not on the shelves but I now have room.

I was listening to the SACD of Santana "Abraxas".  I went to sleep during Black Magic Woman.  I'm worn out!

Thanks for sharing those Granger. I wish I still had my albums. I remember when I gave them to my brother... When I was entering a monastic life in the ashram. I know too much information. At least I can feel somewhat ok for letting them go!

All my "albums" are now ripped onto hard drives... with several back ups. I managed to get them all onto my laptop in WAV (CD quality). Pretty awesome.

Eric, did you rip analog?  Or just the easy one, digital?
I have not ripped analog - I have no analog to rip (digitize). That would be fun though! I would prob rip to DTS then I would have to buy more gear to play it!

Buy one of those high zoot Digital recorders M. Fremer uses to prove analog is superior.  That always tickles me.  He uses burned CDs to show that analog is better.  It does indeed show that analog is different, and probably more musical.

It takes an hour to start... well moving. It is pink and purple.

So I just snapped the picture.  It was a 10MB camera but I think it was re-sized when it was downloaded to Photobucket.

Amazon has a very wide selection of them, go figger'.
