Mid Atlantic bottleheads

I was wondering if there would be any interest in a meeting to show off gear play music and make new friends? I used to host meets occasionally some years ago but got busy and then got sick. I am pretty much repaired now and would love to start the hobby up again. My tube gear is not working at present but I want to build a preamp for my new class d amp.
So bring amps,preamps, speakers etc and most of all new music. I live in Sterling Va near Dulles airport.
What do you think? Any takers?
 
I would come except that I moved back to Oz (Urangan) in 2020. I'm still building amps since I had to disassemble most of them when I moved. Currently, I am rebuilding my 6SK17-v / GK71 amp.

I miss the meeting we had at the library. I am up by Valley Forge so it is a ride for me but would be interested.

I had an interesting weekend. I was contacted by a bloke who lives a bit south of me about my old 829B parafeed amp with the lightbulbs. The conversation developed and he expressed an interest in building so I visited him and he has started to build a simple 12HG7 / 6V6 amp.

Since I have now turned 75, I have started to divest myself of stuff I know I will never use so I donated several power transformers, chokes and quite a few tubes in the hope that he will use them. Some of them were donated to me so I am just glad to pass them on so that when I eventually topple off my perch, they won't go into the dumpster.

I’m sorry for the long delay in replying but I have been running here and there dealing with all sorts of issues. I took a look at the calendar and picked May 21 as the date for an informal meet. Please bring whatever you like and also some interesting music. I will provide some light refreshments. I’m hoping I can get Ray to meet everybody via FaceTime.
I am located in Sterling Va about 5 miles north of Dulles airport. Tony lives nearby and has expressed interest in attending. So come one and all and we will make a go of it.
 
I am going to change the date to June 25th as Tony will be out of town on vacation for the first date. Hope to see some takers. Maybe we can get you on Skype Ray? Would be great to see you again, hope all is well.

Ray - maybe you could write a book about the Mid Pacific accent and start a whole new trend in movies and politics.
