While I have the original Steomour I believe the circuit is the same as the II edition. I was wondering how important it is to have the 2A3s closely matched? Somehow I recall reading it wasn't.
It's not too important when the tubes are run single ended, aside from gross mismatches like a totally worn out tube on one channel and a new one on the other, which might cause some imbalance.
